Dr. Jennifer Warren grew up right here in Allen Park, she attended Allen Park Schools and graduated from Allen Park High School, GO JAGS!! Dr. Jennifer Warren then graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science in Physiology. GO GREEN!!! She continued her education at Life University and Logan College of Chiropractic, where she graduated with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Dr. Jennifer Warren continues to further her education with multiple seminars and continuing educational credits every year. She also teaches Anatomy and Physiology at Baker College of Allen Park and Henry Ford College. During Dr. Jennifer Warren’s clinical experience she was fortunate enough to provide care to people of all ages and she continues to bring that education into her daily practice. She has treated infants from a few hours old, to her oldest patient currently 94 years old. Dr. Jennifer Warren also has 15 years of experience treating athletes of all ages.
When Dr. Jen is not working at the practice, or teaching at one of the two colleges, she is with her family. She is married with 3 boys and continues to live in Allen Park. Her boys attend Allen Park Schools, her husband volunteers his time to help coach APAC T-ball and Allen Park High School Football. She is also very involved with sibling’s sports, and is always out on the numerous fields cheering everyone on and even giving adjustments when needed. Dr. Jennifer Warren truly enjoys living and working in this great city. She is humbled to be able to give back to such an amazing community. You will see her around at numerous sporting/the arts events, supporting other local business, and playing at all the wonderful parks with her family.
Dr. Marisa Twiner joined Allen Park Family Chiropractic in August 2009. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from Michigan State University in 1999 and a Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life University in 2003. She practiced for several years in Charleston South Carolina before moving back to her home state of Michigan in 2009.
Dr. Twiner spends her free time chasing her two small children. She has completed four half marathons in the past several years and is currently training for a full marathon. She also enjoys other activities, including hiking and skiing and is an avid reader.
Dr. John Trainor joined Allen Park Family Chiropractic in 2020 after running his own practice for over 15 years. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Zoology from Michigan State University in 1999 and continued his education at Life University and Logan College of Chiropractic where he received a Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences as well as his Doctorate of Chiropractic.
Being in practice for 18 years has given him the opportunity to help numerous patients of all age groups with different health issues. Techniques include Diversified, Thompson drop, Activator and Cox Flexion-Distraction. He looks forward to helping you achieve your health goals.
An avid sports fan, Dr. John Trainor enjoys playing golf and grew up playing hockey. He spends his free time raising his two daughters and with family.
Maxine has been with Allen Park Family Chiropractic since 2008 as part of the front desk staff, she loves being part of the chiropractic family and witnessing what chiropractic can do for others. Maxine enjoys interacting with the patients on a personal and professional level and being a part of their chiropractic experience. You can see Maxine at the front desk answering phones, scheduling and helping patients and also in the back taking x-rays.
Maxine currently resides in Allen Park with her husband and son. In her free time Maxine enjoys many activities including camping, hiking, running and reading. She and her family are active members of the community where you can usually see them out and about the neighborhood.
Kim has been a chiropractic assistant with Allen Park Family Chiropractic since 2017. You will encounter Kim and her friendly attitude at the front desk as she greets the patients and takes care of all their appointment needs. As a chiropractic assistant you will also find Kim in the back taking x-rays, blood pressure and range of motion.
Kim has been a long time Allen Park Resident with her husband and three sons. She enjoys running, biking and traveling.
Jill graduated from Everest Institute in 2007, and has worked as a massage therapist ever since. Most of her career has been spent in the chiropractic setting, as she feels this is the best place to maximize her therapeutic techniques. Jill loves the power and healing that massage therapy can bring to patients who come to her with many different ailments. Jill has been with Allen Park Family Chiropractic since 2017. She is in the office six days a week as her time is in high demand. Jill specializes in Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy and prenatal massage.
Jill is the mother of a son and daughter who keep her very busy with many school activities, cheerleading and band. In her free time she enjoys weekends away up north, movies, music, and relaxing with the dog.
Amanda is one of our part time License Massage Therapist. We are proud to say that she has been with us since October 2012. She is a graduate of Irene's myomassology in Southfeild, Mi. She is very intutitive and loves her work, which comes through in every massage she dose. Amanda can do Swedish, Deep tissue, and prenatal massages.
Amanda loves spending time with her two puggles and family. She is also very creative and enjoys crafting, and gardening. You can also find Amanda with her nose stuck in a good book.
Hollie graduated from Ann Arbor Institute of Massage School in 2001 where she was trained in Swedish massage, trigger point, lymphatic, deep tissue, myofascial, prenatal, sports and reflexology. Most of Hollie’s career has been spent in a chiropractic setting along with a few years in a spa setting. Hollie has been with Allen Park Family Chiropractic since 2020 and has been a great addition to our office. Her main goal to make the client feel better.
Hollie enjoys the outdoors, vacations, loves the weekends and spending time with family.
Barb graduated from Irene’s Myomassology Institute in 2021. Barb is very in-tune to her clients needs which comes though in every massage she does. Barb performs Swedish, prenatal, lymphatic massage and deep tissue. Her specialty is head, neck and scalp massage.
Barb loves the outdoors and spending time gardening. She also loves to use her creative side and enjoys building and creating things, she is also in the beginning stages of learning how to throw clay on a pottery wheel.
Kiersten is a New York state native who found her way to Michigan and to Irene's Myomassology Institute where she graduated in 2021. She practiced on her two children and husband throughout the Covid pandemic. Prior to receiving her license Kiersten worked as a home aid for peoples with permanent spinal cord injuries and is an avid health advocate for all! She loves to meet with a wide variety of clients and finds her work to be meaningful and rewarding.
When Kiersten is not working you can find her cooking plant-based foods for her family or meditating in her bathtub with and audiobook.
Teidra graduated from NIT (currently Everest Institute) with honors in 2006. She became a licensed massage therapist in 2016. Teidra specializes in therapeutic massage and is able to diagnose restriction in the tissues and then contour each massage to maximize the benefit to each individual. Teidra’s skill set includes but is not limited to deep tissue, aromatherapy, trigger point release, and cross-friction massage. She has been a member of the America Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) since 2014.
Teidra’s greatest accomplishment is her four children of whom she is incredibly proud of. Watching her children overcome all the adversities in life inspired her to follow her dream to become a massage therapist.
